Leadership Advisor & Executive Coach

Leadership in complexity.
Supporting organizations where strategy, people and culture meet.

I work with organizations where leadership, performance and people dynamics intersect — often in moments of growth, transformation or uncertainty.

Stephanie Vogelius Bowman

I tell you what you need to hear.

I'm a leadership coach and organizational development expert working with senior leaders and their teams across Europe. Previously, as Director of People & Organizational Development at Novo Nordisk Pharma GmbH, I worked at the sharp end of one of Europe's most complex and high-performing organizations.

My academic foundation is a Master's in Leadership and Management Studies from Copenhagen Business School — grounded in the Scandinavian tradition of evidence-based, human-centered leadership.

My work is built on one conviction: the quality of leadership determines everything else. Not the strategy documents. Not the org charts. The people at the top — and how they show up in every room, every conversation, every decision.

I don't offer comfortable leadership development. I offer the kind that works.

What I do

01

Executive Coaching

I work one-to-one with senior leaders who are ready to go beyond performance — to examine how they lead, who they are as a leader, and what it will take to close the gap between intent and impact. Rigorous. Confidential. Direct.

02

Leadership Development

I design programs around the real challenges your organization faces — not generic frameworks. Built for leadership teams and high-potential cohorts who are ready to be stretched in ways that actually stick.

03

Organizational Consulting

I provide strategic support for organizations navigating change, culture shifts, or leadership transitions. I work at the intersection of people strategy and organizational design — where the real leverage lives, and where most consultants don't go.

Good leaders don't need to hear what they want to hear. They need someone who will tell them what they need to hear — and help them do something about it.

How I work.

No two engagements are the same. I adapt to the people and the problem — not the other way around.

What stays constant is my commitment to substance over style, and to the kind of honesty that most organizations privately wish they had more of.

Grounded in evidence. Delivered with directness. Built to last long after we're done.

I

Diagnose before prescribing

I listen carefully before I recommend anything. The problem you bring me is rarely the real one.

II

Challenge with respect

I tell the truth. I do it without judgment, but I won't soften it into irrelevance. You deserve an honest partner, not a cheerleader.

III

Build capability, not dependency

My goal is always the same: you and your team stronger and more capable long after we're done. I'm not here to make myself indispensable.

IV

Grounded in evidence

Everything I do is anchored in established psychology and research — not trend-driven frameworks that will be obsolete in 18 months.

Thinking that cuts through.

#CareerDilemmas

Everyone agrees in the meeting. But the real conversations happen afterwards.

Nods around the table. Alignment on the surface. No objections raised. And yet, decisions slow down. Commitment feels thin. Energy leaks out sideways.

Not because people don't care — but because something important never quite gets said.

What conversations are leadership teams postponing in the name of harmony? And what does it quietly cost when alignment is assumed rather than built?

On Change Leadership

Change doesn't integrate at the pace of a project plan.

In organizations, we often confuse speed with progress. Especially in change. We push forward, add milestones, accelerate timelines — while people are still trying to make sense of what's happening.

When leaders move faster than people can process, resistance quietly grows. When leaders slow down enough to be present, movement becomes possible.

Leading change isn't about forcing momentum. It's about creating the conditions where movement can actually take root.

Ready for the real conversation?

If you're a senior leader, CHRO, or organization looking for a partner who will take the work — and you — seriously, I want to hear from you.

No lengthy qualification process. Just a direct conversation about what you're facing and whether working together makes sense.
